Associate Degrees at Southern Wesleyan University


The Southern Wesleyan University associate degree requires two years of study and allows adult students to attend required classes and group meetings while maintaining their personal and professional lives. Earning a Southern Wesleyan University associate degree involves successfully completing broad, general education and specialized courses in their chosen major. The Southern Wesleyan University associate degree program prepares students to advance into a bachelor’s degree program or to earn their associate degree and excel in their careers.

Associate of Arts in General Studies


Degree Description
Designed for the first time student as well as an individual with some prior college, the AA degree is primarily composed of general education courses with nine hours of concentration in sociology. This degree will prepare the student for the Bachelor of Science in Education with Teacher Certification component or other degree completion options.

Associate of Science in Business


Degree Description
Designed for the first time student as well as the individual with prior college experience, the ASB program includes courses in business, marketing, economics, and accounting, among others. Upon completion of the ASB program, students have the option to apply their credits toward a Bachelor of Science degree.
